Having spacious cargo-and-passenger cabins, being transformable and equipped with auxiliary facilities, our helicopters are capable to carry out various tasks, such as:
Passenger transportation (up to 24 people) including VIP flights as well as sightseeing flights to hard reachable areas;
Cargo transportation in cabin or on external load sling (up to 4 tons);
Constructing and assembling operations, handling operations; pipeline assembling operations, installation of various constructions onto high-rise housetops;
Medical evacuation (Medevac), search and rescue flights (S&R), emergency medical services (EMS);
Installation and maintenance of oil drilling derricks;
Flights to floating drilling rigs and vessels (offshore works);
Fire fighting operations using external spillway devices;
Aerial survey flights (including gas and oil pipelines monitoring, electric power lines monitoring and other).
Mi-8 MTV-1 (Мi-17-1-V) configured with special equipment to use it for firefighting operations (by either water or special chemicals) in hard reachable areas to be applied among other alternative firefighting methods.
Fire can be extinguished by means of BAMBI BUCKET spillway device with water intake capacity up to 3000 liters filling/refilling from open water sources (river, lake, reservoir, etc.) within 5-10 seconds and water dropping time up to 20 seconds. BAMBI bucket is compact enough to be transported in cargo cabin.
