The Aviation Closed Joint Stock Company Ukrainian Helicopters was incorporated on the 10th of December 2002. Our fleet of medium Mi-8MTV-1 helicopters is now recognized as the largest in Ukraine. A fleet of one type aircrafts enables company to ensure the high quality of services as well as its ability to deliver large number of aircrafts to one place to perform major operations. Besides, monotype range allows us to provide effective maintenance services and to reduce operational expenses. Correspondingly, it cuts down the financial expenses of our customers.
The company constantly works on the modernization of the aircrafts. Our helicopters equipped with the latest aeronautical facilities from USA manufacturers that make them capable to fly in night and low visibility conditions.
Striving for integration into the international aviation market, the company makes significant efforts to meet every legal and technological requirement necessary for cooperation with foreign customers, aviation safety and quality norms, in accordance with the standards of ICAO and international organizations which use its services.
Activity of the company oriented on performance of wide range of missions in different arrears throughout the planet, related to humanitarian missions, emergency relief operations, mitigation of consequences of catastrophes, large-scale rescue operations, saving natural resources and environmental assets gives the right to say: “We are in right place in right time where we are needed most!”
Their highly responsible attitude to the work, quality and safety of the work done have become those reasons owing to which Aviation Company in October, 2006 obtained status of accredited carrier of United Nations. Long-term study and hard painstaking work were prerequisite to this magnificent event as well as audit by UN inspectors.
All permits and approvals required to operate in most of the countries of the world have been obtained by the company. Advantageous geographical location of our main operational base at Kakhnovka airdrome, Kremenchug (central part of Ukraine), enables our helicopters to reach European, African or Middle East countries at most short time. Optionally our partners with powerful transport facilities like AN-124 can position our aircrafts in short time to any part of the world including Latin America and Australia. In 2005 we have opened a new representative office in Nigeria to approach potential customers and coordinate our services in Africa.
The company has been growing dynamically, improving operational methods, expanding the range of aviation services. Modern technical facilities and developed infrastructure along with the vast experience of our pilots and support staff make us capable to work on various projects for our clients as a reliable and efficient operator.
